Our collection began in 2012 with a book of veterans’ stories and an art auction. Since then, we have formed hundreds of collaborations between veterans, artists, and writers. These collaborations are at the heart of what we do to give veterans a platform and make their truths heard, to form bridges between the experiences of men and women of service and civilians, to foster empathy and healing across communities, and to bring to light the sacrifices so many make for our freedom.
We are grateful to be able to share our collection in its entirety with you online, and our collection is always growing. Here you’ll find the latest additions, featured works, and volumes of prior work. We welcome you to explore, with a word of caution that some stories are severe in nature: such is the nature of war and combat.
